We put off mattress shopping much longer than we should have because we dreaded...The Attack of the Overbearing Mattress Seller. The first two stores we visited confirmed our fears. Too much talk, too much hard sell, too much telling us what we should want rather than giving us the opportunity to figure out what we liked. Feeling exasperated and no closer to going home, we walked into The Mattress Factory and encountered Jerry, the opposite of overbearing, the opposite of unpleasant. He gave us space, but stayed within reasonable range to answer our questions. Once we made our decision, Jerry made appropriate suggestions regarding which mattress technology would best contribute to maximum comfort. He also made sure we could get the earliest possible delivery. We're very pleased with our purchase, as well as the discovery that buying a mattress doesn't have to be a terrible experience.
